Circles of Influence once again took place at the fantastic British Museum on the Wednesday 19th November 2008.
The theme of this year’s event was talent and leadership.
Over 200 young people, support workers and influential decision makers attended the event to discuss issues such as:
- What do young people need to be a leader? - What works well and not so well to support leadership in local areas? - Do young people consider themselves to be citizens?
The event finished with an inter-generational debate, chaired by Lord Taylor of Warwick, addressing the question: “Do older people make natural leaders because they have greater life experience?”
